Tonight I am reading a Conference talk called Act in All Diligence by Henry B. Eyring. This talk is from the Priesthood session. Actually I am only able to read half of this talk tonight. I really liked two of his quotes that applied to me, especially at this time in my life. The first says, "Learn what the Lord expects of you, make a plan to do it, act on your plan with diligence, and then share with others how your experience changed you and blessed others." I believe the Lord expects me to be a powerful wife and mother, one who honors her covenants and how nurtures, teaches and leads her family by example and with great love. I am currently working on my plan to do that and this daily gospel study is definitely a major part of that. I believe my plan will always be evolving and I am doing the best I can to act on what I do have planned with diligence. I am feeling the positive effects of my diligence and know there will only be more strengthening experiences to come in the future as I continue to act my plan with diligence.

The second quote I liked is a quote from the new Duty to God book which says, "Heavenly Father has great trust and confidence in you and has an important mission for you to fulfill. He will help you as you turn to Him in prayer, listen for the promptings of the Spirit, obey the commandments, and keep the covenants that you have made." I do believe He has a mission for me and I will never give up on working to accomplish that mission. I am grateful for the promised blessings of His help when I do my part and I will always do my best to be worthy of that help.
