Tonight I am reading another Conference talk called Turn to the Lord by Donald L. Hallstrom. This talk teaches of how important our choices are in how we chose to respond to adversity. The example of Joseph Smith is given as a model to look to. I love this quote, "never let an earthly circumstance disable you spiritually." I always try to keep an eternal perspective in all things and it really helps me to keep my faith and testimony strong, no matter what happens. I am so grateful that in all things, I know I can turn to my Savior and that He has experienced pain and suffering and He understands what I need and how to succor my aching heart. I want to always remember Him. I am grateful for His Atonement and so grateful for all of life's experiences that are designed to help me become more like my Heavenly Parents.
