Tonight I read a few verses in D&C 45:26-34, talking about the last days. In those days, "men's hearts shall fail them" and their "love shall wax cold." Both of these statements, to me, signify the importance of my heart being my compass and stability throughout life. I do what I do because in my heart I feel it is right. It is so important to keep an open heart. An open heart is a strong heart. And it is so important to constantly be striving to love others. I learn by loving... I live by loving. I also loved this statement in these verses: "My disciples shall stand in holy places and shall not be moved." I love that because I know I will be protected no matter what occurs. I will not be moved. I want my home to be one of those "holy places" and I also want my heart to be a holy place.
