I'm doing the scripture study on page 5 of Preach My Gospel that asks, "How do you receive power?" From 1 Corinthians 2:4, I find it is from the Spirit, not "man's wisdom." From Alma 17:2-3, I find it comes from "search(ing) the scriptures diligently," "much prayer and fasting." And then from D&C 53:3 I find it comes from being ordained by the laying on of hands.
