I began reading President Uchtdorf's talk from the last Priesthood session called Pride and the Priesthood, but I'll have to finish it at another time because I'm in a situation right now where I need to turn out the light so my son can go to sleep. We are out of town and all sleeping together in a small room. Anyway, from what I read so far this stuck out to me: "Every mortal has at least a casual if not intimate relationship with the sin of pride. No one has avoided it; few have overcome it." That last part especially stood out to me. I also appreciate how he pointed out that there are different kinds of pride and having pride in our family, our work, or our country is not a sin. I am really excited to read the rest of this talk another night.
