I'm finishing up the talk I began last night. One thing stood out to me and that is how he used the example of those who were hit by a tsunami and survived because they quickly sought higher ground. With urgency, he counsels all of us to "seek higher ground - the refuge and eternal protection of the temple." I do believe in the protecting power of the temple. It is through regular attendance there that that power is wrought out on our behalf. I recently spoke with my sister in law who shared with me that she believes her family has been protected by that sacred power because her parents went to the temple every month. I find that to be a great example and I want my children to also be recipients of that protecting power through my faithful service in the temple. I love being there. I love the peace I feel while in that beautiful house.
