I read D&C 49:15-28. I love the doctrine that "marriage is ordained of God" ... "that the earthy might answer the end of its creation" ... to "be filled with the measure of man." I am so grateful for the blessing of this earth to live on and to use. I am grateful for all the Lord has provided for me. He says "the beasts of the field and the fowls of the air and that which cometh of the earth is ordained for the use of man for food and for raiment, and that he might have in abundance." The Lord loves me and has and always will provide for me so long as I am righteous and "continue in steadfastness." He will be with me. I find great comfort in these scriptures and am filled with gratitude for the blessing of God's creations and the opportunity to have a body and experience this mortal life.
